Career Transitions, LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Operations Manager to join our client, an expanding industrial manufacturer, located in southwester lower Michigan. This is a very exciting search because our client has been growing every year, creating greater opportunities and positive challenges across their operations. As an operations professional, you will become an integral part of the senior staff, leading and directing a group of floor associates to achieve the very best.  The right candidate will be an experienced manufacturing professional with production or operations leadership experience and solid technical background. Reporting to a Vice President, you will drive positive change, using lean or other proven continuous improvement methods and lead and mentor a group of professionals. This position interacts with other managers, fellow engineers, and operators. Responsibilities of the Technical Operations Manager Provide positive direction and motivation to front line supervisors to drive value and a team-oriented work culture throughout the operation. Start up, commissioning, and implementing standard procedure and best practices for a new operations in manufacturing and assembly. Hire, train, and coach new employees. Be their leadership, mentor and work diligently to promote a culture of unity, all working toward a common goal. Earn the respect of those you lead. Develop and implement continuous improvement programs and other best practices to improve production yield, best practices for assembly, material usage, product quality, and maintenance. Coordinate work, and production activities with other department managers. Desired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering). 6-10+ years Manufacturing industry experience. Approximately 3 years or more of supervisory experience (operations manager, production manager) preferred. Those who do not have direct reports but have directed projects with various people on their team. Strong Lean / Continuous Improvement Skills (Certifications a plus). Strong Technical Background / Natural Problem Solver and able to analyze processes for efficiencies. Knowledge of Bills of Material, Value Mapping, and system capabilities. Background in quality helpful. 
Salary Range: $115K - $126K

5 - 7 years

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
