Inventory Controller
Now hiring a Inventory Controller in Niles, MI! Trillium Staffing, a leader in the staffing industry is currently seeking an Inventory Controller in Niles, MI. Candidate is responsible for receiving, printing and shipping orders from Philadelphia and making sure the customer receives them in a timely fashion. The orders are highlighted, labeled and sent down the line to be picked. The orders are also checked for errors and adjustments are made if needed. The department is also responsible for cancellations. Candidates hours are 11:00am- to7:00pm!
Primary Job
Responsibilities:
1. Communicate with management and Philadelphia
2. Print orders and color code for different sorts.
3. Shortage adjustments, carrier changes, cancellations
4. Answer phones for Hot orders, cancellations, and special handling properly.
5. Checking for orders in error.
6. Hot orders or must go orders. 7. Making sure WMS, Cutsey, and Teleneting systems are working properly.
8. Cross train in other departments.
9. Documenting any unusual issues with the orders.
10. Chase orders for different sorts.
11. Inform management of any unusual issues or special orders such as LTL, DHL, CINTAS, International orders.
Related Job Duties:
1. Help in any other department(s) whenever necessary.
2. Department. is also responsible for helping with the sample orders.
3. Department is also where most of the special projects are assembled.
4. General housekeeping - including warehouse cleaning during slow season -Previous experience in a similar role
-A valid driver's license
-Reliable transportation
