Manufacturing Supervisor

Open Position:
We are seeking a dynamic individual for the position of 1st Shift Supervisor at our Automotive Division in Niles, MI. This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for all activities on 1st Shift in an automotive metal stamping/robotic welding work cell assembly facility. Responsibilities include:
Supervision and direction of the personnel and processes in the production area assigned, including direct supervision of team leaders and approximately 50 associates.
Providing growth opportunities for associates through cross-functional training.
Maintaining safety, productivity, and housekeeping within the area, and using data driven measurables to track performance.
Supporting continuous improvement activities, identifying quality or safety improvements and initiating proactive problem solving.
Maintaining proper adherence to manufacturing best practices, single part flow objectives, proper documentation, standardized work and 5S as required.
Reviewing daily shipping schedule requirements and notifying management of any shortages to the expected build schedules.

Work Experience Requirements:
The successful candidate will have several years of progressively responsible experience with safety, quality (TS16949), and productivity improvements. The individual will possess superior interpersonal and organizational skills. Knowledge of tooling, robotic welding, and work cell assembly is essential.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
