Industrial Maintenance Technician

Industrial Maintenance Technician needed for a growing manufacturing company in the Niles, Michigan area! Our client, who has been in business for over 100 years, has an opening for an experienced, safety-oriented industrial machine repairer.
This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, upgrading and fabricating machinery and equipment. Hours are 7pm - 7am with a 36/48 hour per week schedule.
Qualified candidates will have experience in the following:

Dismantle, repair and assemble machinery and components
Gearbox repair
Welding (mig/tig/stick)
Rigging
Pneumatics
Piping for steam, compressed air, acids and caustics
Pump troubleshooting and repair
Boiler operation and maintenance
Familiarity with industrial electrical systems (relays, motors, switches)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
