AutoCAD Drafter
Job Description Kelly Services is recruiting an AutoCAD Drafter for a major client in the Niles, Michigan area.
Job Description- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor 2012, 2D and 3D.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Design experience preferred, valve industry experience a plus.
- Experience with Component and Assembly Drawings.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Material selection skills a plus.
Responsibilities- Collaborating in a team environment and performs routine design.
- Provides technical information for review with product engineering and consistently applies established engineering defined practices and standard methods.
- Contributes to supporting documentation for procedures.
- Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities and supports other teams or individuals as needed.
Requirements Job Requirements- 1 - 5 years of experience in CAD.
- Completion of a Drafting Technology Program or Associates degree preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
- Fundamental experience using basic engineering design.
- Develops familiarity with products and customer specifications and standard product line or system.
- Ability to communicate status of technical tasks and actions taken.
- Ability to work with general direction and instruction regarding the scope, priority and order of assignments.
- Ability to present findings and information in both formal meetings and to teams or individuals.
