Tier 1 automotive supplier in SW Michigan is currently seeking a Quality Technician experienced with programming and operating a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM). PC or Open DMIS programming is preferred.
Responsibilities include: programming and operating a DCC CMM, conducting complete dimensional inspection of components, assemblies and tooling, generating and reporting dimensional results, performing gage R&R and capability studies.
To qualify for this challenging opportunity, you must have a proven record of performance in a dynamic manufacturing environment, computer knowledge, and extensive experience with part print reading including geometric dimensioning & tolerancing, five (5) years or more of layout experience that includes CMM programming. Previous experience with PC DMIS and/or OPEN DMIS measurement software is highly desirable. ASQ-CQT is preferred.
